Can I cancel or transfer a sitting?

Paragon's pages disagree on the deadline, so here are both, each with its page:

  • Policies & Forms: a cancellation received at least 7 calendar days before the sitting gets 50% of the fee back; a transfer must be made at least 7 days ahead, and the first is free.
  • The FAQ on celpip.ca's country pages, including Nigeria: at least 9 calendar days for both, a 50% refund, and a transfer fee of CA$50 plus applicable taxes.

The shorter notice you give, the less likely a refund. Which page applies to a registration made in Nigeria is not stated; the CELPIP Account shows what you are charged.

How long is the test, and when do results arrive?

Paragon words the total length three ways: “about 3 hours” on the country-page FAQ, and “under 3 hours”, “under 2 hours and 50 minutes”, “2 hours and 50 minutes” on others. The component times are the same everywhere: Listening 46–55, Reading 43–56, Writing 53 and Speaking 15 minutes. Results: 3-4 business days on the country-page FAQ, 2-4 business days on its Results page, Australia page, Test Day Information page.
